[ The bill monster is hit with the fire extinguisher and it roars in pain. It made a very visible dent on its body--an imprint of a fire extinguisher.
The meta is quite... something. He's not sure why there are fire extinguishers in the first place, but he sees most of them melting into the lava. In that case, he tries very hard to think of something else--
When you wish u p o n a s t a r . . .
A giant meteor is heading this way. Did Daisuke cast Meteor? Probably not. Did his imagination summon it? Maybe. Either way, he's panicking, pointing at the meteor. ]
You don't think you can hit that back into space with your hammer, could you?!
[Oh no. Ohhhh no, that is probably not great? That is actually definitely not great and while he's celebrating his small victory of hitting the monster Daisuke summons a meteor. It takes a moment to get John's attention and his eyes widen.]
Fuck. Uh. Maybe! I think this is probably going to end really badly but it is worth a shot. Can't we redirect it toward the monster instead? [He's wielding his hammer though, ready to go.] If that meteor lands, everything will be destroyed!
Okay, then how about... hitting the monster straight into the meteor?
[ That doesn't make sense, and maybe it's out of John's capabilities, but anything can happen in dream world... right?! Daisuke is also panicking and not thinking about rational conclusions, so that doesn't help. ]
[He'll just start hopping over any places that haven't been destroyed by lava hoping to get close enough to the monster.]
I think that's what the hammer was for in the first place! [He'll move in closer and it's a dream. If this ends up poorly then...they'll just wake up! Probably! God he's hoping that's true but:] Be prepared for the impact in case this doesn't work. [And with that he jumps, swinging the hammer into the wounded monster to push it forward as the meteor continues crashing straight toward them.]
[ Daisuke watches John go ahead and... thinks about what to do. How does one brace for impact when they're standing on a lone rocky platform surrounded by other rocky things with nowhere else to go? He puts that question aside and really hope John pulls through.
The monster squirms as if it just noticed the meteor and tries to go against it, but it doesn't work. It lands on its back right in the path of the meteor and--
The meteor lands.
Everything explodes.
The last thing that's heard before everything goes white is the distant wailing of "paaay meee".
