[He'll just start hopping over any places that haven't been destroyed by lava hoping to get close enough to the monster.]

I think that's what the hammer was for in the first place! [He'll move in closer and it's a dream. If this ends up poorly then...they'll just wake up! Probably! God he's hoping that's true but:] Be prepared for the impact in case this doesn't work. [And with that he jumps, swinging the hammer into the wounded monster to push it forward as the meteor continues crashing straight toward them.]

[ Daisuke watches John go ahead and... thinks about what to do. How does one brace for impact when they're standing on a lone rocky platform surrounded by other rocky things with nowhere else to go? He puts that question aside and really hope John pulls through.

The monster squirms as if it just noticed the meteor and tries to go against it, but it doesn't work. It lands on its back right in the path of the meteor and--

The meteor lands.

Everything explodes.

The last thing that's heard before everything goes white is the distant wailing of "paaay meee".

Then they wake up. ]
