[ it's the day................ the day that daisuke confesses and despite that it's daisuke who's actually going through with the act, naegi finds himself very nervous. he wants the best for his little brother and knows how much work that was put into this so he can't help but find himself very invested in the situation. since daisuke has left the apartment and told him that today was going to be the day, naegi's been sitting at the living room table, constantly glancing at the front door. every time he hears a noise out in the hallway, his head jerks upwards to look at the door before lowering in disappointment when it wasn't daisuke. he desperately wants to know what's going on so he has perched himself here in the living room, playing with his phone, waiting until daisuke comes back home. ]
[ It's a little before dinner time when Daisuke comes back. All in a good day's work of helping the city! He looks like he's in a good mood. Tired, but happy. The door opens and he announces that he's back. ]
[ this is one of the few times that naegi can be as obnoxious as possible. he's like that overbearing parent who needs to find out everything ]

[ naegi already knows the answer to that because chiyo revealed that she liked daisuke to naegi months ago but he's still gotta ask. he wants to pump up daisuke and hear it from him!! ]
[ she said yes!!!! that's all that matters to naegi and he immediately goes over to pull daisuke into a tight hug. he's laughing and he even lifts up daisuke for a second or two off the floor as he hugs him. HE'S SUCH A PROUD ONIICHAN RIGHT NOW ]

Well, no. Daisuke doesn't scream as he's pulled into a hug. But he gives up and lets nature take its course. Though it's really hard not to be so happy when Naegi is. He laughs before giving a small happy sigh. ]

[ naegi goes quiet all of a sudden and the energy suddenly disappears. he remains silent for a second with a straight face but his poker face betrays him as his lips twitch into a small teasing smile ]
But it went well so you don't have to worry anymore! Now the only thing you have to be concerned about is thinking about dates and what your first one will be.
[ Excuse Daisuke as he just stands there for a moment, looking at the floor. He's probably imagining possible scenarios for first dates and is totally spacing out right now. ]
