[ Daisuke almost stumbles into the house and ends up collapsing near the doorway because he feels like he can't go on anymore. He tries to keep his breathing quiet when Akira goes to scramble for the first aid kit.
When instructed to take his shirt off, he does so, slowly. He tries not to move his left arm at all, so that's where the shirt gets out from. The wound is actually small--the size of a fingernail. It resembles a hole as if he was shot with a gun, except you can see the other side through it if you tried. The blood isn't stopping because the wound is a gaping hole.
Daisuke glances over at it and hazily wonders that if he didn't move in time, maybe that would have been through his heart instead, since the wound is a bit close to it. He grits his teeth to endure the pain. ]
Yeah, just hang in there... I know a couple of people that can heal, so keep yourself awake, okay?
[ For now, Akira cleans up the mess and makes sure the wound is clean. What possibility is there that the light was dirty and left bacteria in there? He hopes not much, but he applies ointment to the wound on both side before patching Daisuke up. The bandage patches come first before the actual wrap. It has to be wrapped tight for compression to stop the blood.
Okay. Stay calm. Underclassmen is alive and they are Safe. ]
Just talk to me. Anything you're looking forward to?
[ He's going to text his roommate that should be here, but they should get a Heads Up. ]
[ Daisuke winces in pain as Akira works on patching him up. It doesn't take long for the patches to show redness through. Good thing that the bandages do a good job in covering that up.
When Akira asks that, he can't really think of anything else other than wanting to live, not wanting to die, and hopefully an ambulance won't be in the scene because he doesn't have the money for that. Even in a dire situation as this, he doesn't really wan to rack up more things that he and Makoto have to pay for. He has a complicated expression on his face, but it mostly looks like he's zoning out. ]
I... was looking forward to graduating with my friends.
[ He knows (or at least hopes) that he won't die, but the fatigue from before is quickly catching up to him. Whatever was left of his endurance has been chipped away by dealing with the pain and he finds himself slowly... dozing off. Akira told him to keep talking to him, but he can't stay awake for this.
So he ends up passing out. He'll wake up two days later. ]
