[ early in the morning! before daisuke normally wakes up, naegi has been out preparing for The Day. he's got the gifts (a drawing tablet and a table), they're all wrapped up (well, the tablet is while the desk just has a bow on it), the cake is set on the dining table, and the rest of the bows have been stuck throughout the apartments. naegi has been Waiting For This so when everything is ready, he knocks on daisuke's door. ]

It's a Saturday... a lazy Saturday. Truthfully, Daisuke has been up a little before the moment Naegi knocked because he was texting Chiyo. Just staying in bed for a bit after long hours of school, work, and practicing for the Recolle Ninja event has him tired. This much should be allowed for him, right?
At any rate, Daisuke hears the knock and sits up on his bed. It is finally time to get out of bed and face the day. ]

[ As if Naegi said the magic words, Daisuke feels a little happier. He stands there in silence for a second, before a smile breaks out, turning into a grin shortly after. He is ready to follow him. ]

Is that a table? No, it's a desk. A desk with drawers, holy shit. The bow decorations being everywhere too... the whole thing is simple, but Daisuke feels so touched by the whole thing. He stares at the living room in its entirety with wide eyes, taking in the surprise. To most people, this might not have been much, but combined with Daisuke's latest stressors in comparison, this is an absolutely fantastic way to start the day. ]
