[ while daisuke is dying on his bed or something, naegi is cleaning up around the apartment. granted, it's already clean enough because, well... there's not much to clean when you only have a dining table as your main furniture and little more in the two bedrooms but naegi likes to make sure that things are tidy. it's something that he was forced to make a habit out of when he moved so he does it every now and then. however, while cleaning up, he finds something just outside daisuke's room. ]

[ There is silence on the other side of the door, until there are several footsteps, a bit clumsy, and then the door opens. Daisuke looks exhausted, but that doesn't stop him from grabbing Naegi's shoulders with both hands and looking at him dead in the eyes. Those real, red eyes!! ]

[ Daisuke's stare loves from the wig to Naegi. He's sitting up now, and can't believe what he's hearing. He takes a moment of silence after Naegi is done speaking and simply sighs. ]

It was a wig that I used when I was in a school play in my memories. I... didn't want to be it, but it just ended up being that way. [ He feels the sense of dread climbing back up, the same one that he experienced upon viewing that memory of literally everyone in the class voting him to play the lead girl. Why does this happen!!
He's also not going to mention how into the play he was, because while he felt that emotion, he doesn't understand just why the other Daisuke was like that (yet). ]

Yeah, uh... It belonged to the past me? Whatever me he is now. He had to play the female lead in a school play, so that was the wig he used.
